Elko County, Nevada
The Wells cemetery has a warm, comfortable feeling. It is well kept, demonstrating the love and respect the town has for its departed residents. The cemetery guardians on shift while we were there was a rather protective bird stationed atop a fir tree by the front gate and a cottontail bunny which roamed the grounds. Here you will find pioneers, ranchers, miners, business owners, veterans. You will find the graves of CHARLES ELLIS BEUHANON (WWI Monument) and ROBERT E. CURTISS (WWII Monument) who gave their all for our country. You will find the mothers, fathers and children. Here you will find peace.
