Personal
Statement:
In my
youth, I hiked above the clouds on windswept mountains and crossed the depths of
the Grand Canyon. I have walked the jungles of Thailand and Burma and
worked on the Arctic circle. I have designed huge pits to mine gold and I
have designed and made petite, dainty rings of gold. I have grown many
beautiful roses, but also I have been pricked many times in my life. In
retrospect, my life has been difficult, mostly of my own making, but I am sure I
would not trade it for someone else's life. My life is not complete, but
if an angel comes for me tonight - I have no regrets accept that I would not be
here to see my children's children grow up. Dan
What I do
for Enjoyment:
Spending
time with my family, being a jeweler, visiting
with people, growing and hybridizing roses, gardening,
writing poems, poetry and stories, raising puppies, fishing and creating this garden and website.
