Toano Cemetery Elko County, Nevada
In one of the more remote parts of northeastern Nevada, on a small hill overlooking the long since abandoned town of Toano (1868 - 1906), is a small cemetery overgrown with sagebrush. In this cemetery are six marked graves, three of which the headstones remain. Here you will find "the children of Toano" - Mary, Willie, and John David.

According to the NVGHOSTTOWNS.COM site, this cemetery actually contains more than 30 graves "although vandalism and occasional cloudbursts have left only a few with legible markers."
