Star Tungsten Mine, Harrison Pass, Elko County, Nevada

The Star Tungsten Mine is located in the lower eastern portion of Harrison Pass, in the Ruby Mountains.  It is located just south of the narrow canyon dirt road along Harrison Pass Creek.  It is extremely well preserved.  It appears to have an on-site caretaker (caretakers home is on the upper end of the camp).  An internet search on this property has yielded very little information.  For now enjoy the photos.  I will check the museum and courthouse records in the days to come.  If you wish to add any information on this property feel free to contact me.

Lost Treasure
In the area of Harrison Pass which is in the Ruby Mountains there is an Old
Spanish Gold Mine. The Shoshone Indians are believed to know where the
mine is but they do not admit to having any knowledge of it. It is also
believed that the reason the Indians do not mine the gold is because of
superstitions.
