NYTC MUSINGS
I am the light above your desk Watching you students is quite picturesque.
As you absorb what you have to learn, I burn on and am unconcerned.
You study, write and read all day; You talk, play games, and disobey.
Not following instructions is your main forte. Most of the time you create your own doomsday.
When challenged by the teacher, you say, "but".. You always take the easiest shortcut.
A lifelong process, learning can be If you don't let your brain atrophy.
So stay in school, learn and reap. Invest a harvest in your own upkeep.
