Cemetery
Elko County, Nevada
On
April 28, 2002, my dad, Barney Turner, son Harry Turner and I went out to the
Lamoille Cemetery - just east of Lamoille, Nevada. It was a nice
trip. Quite, peaceful and pleasant. What better way to spend a
spring Sunday afternoon. In a future up-date I will try to add a bit of
history to the names - about the life of the person beneath the

I
can tell you a bit about the Thomas in Lamoille. An obit
abstract which appeared in the Genealogical Publication "Chart
& Quill": Died 3 Feb 1885. Age 56, Brief Illness and heavy
cold. Settled in Lamoille Valley about 1870, native of Antrium
Co., Ireland. Leaves son Will and dau. Mrs. F.F. (Sarah) Muller.
The 1880 Census index also lists a wife Hannah, son William (b.1862
IL), Sarah (b.1859 IL), Charles (b. 1864 IL), and Samuel (b. 1872 NV). |
