Halloween
Night
The
witches and goblins
Have now had their night
The vampires and monsters
Have seen to their fright
The candy's been sorted
And most of it eaten
The wallet of the dentist
Soon to be sweetened
The costumes and masks
Have been tossed to the floor
'Cause hanging them up
Was too much of a chore
All that's left of the hot chocolate
Are the rings in the cup
The popcorn's now gone
'Cept a few kernels - missed by our pup
All our kids are now safe
Asleep in their beds
Soon jolly dreams of Santa
Will be - what's filling their heads.
