 |
| Crisp, clear real
photo postcard image of a man, mule and small brewery wagon (more like
a buckboard) in Elko, Nevada around 1909. Elko is located in
Elko County. The Elko attribution is based on the terrain and the fact
that this great image came out of an album of almost exclusively Elko
images. The name partially visible on the side of the wagon reads “Becker
Brewing and Malting” (it's not real distinct, but it is there).
I did a little online research and discovered that Becker, located in
Ogden, Utah, had an agent in Elko by the name of J. D. Carroll.
My guess is the gentleman in the wagon is probably Mr. Carroll. |
