Who was she?

Was the question asked.

I paused for a moment

Then set about my task.

Her hair was long and brown.

She had a twinkle in her eye.

Her smile was warm and sincere.

Was how I began my reply.

I can still hear her laugh.

She was friendly, sweet and kind.

So full of life - with an inner peace

That these days - you rarely find.

Lost in thought, I added

There's two things I truly know.

Charlotte was special and

We all love and miss her so.
